Autumn in Zandvoort

Autumn in Zandvoort symbolises the changing nature. Fallow deer enter their rutting season and fight over females. The leaves turn red, yellow and orange and it is a wonderful time to take a walk in the dunes or the park. But the beach is also great for blowing out and soaking up the salty sea air. The autumn storms provide plenty of days to kite-surf or challenge yourself on a bike. Some beach bars are winding down but at least five remain where you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate.

Winter in Zandvoort

The days when the sea was frozen are long gone, but snow on the beach is still a beautiful sight too. The calm has settled in and that is precisely the time to explore and visit Zandvoort's unexplored spots. The old fishermen's cottages in the centre (sloppies), the beautiful old streets and entrepreneurs who have time to really have a chat with you.
