Zandvoort Beach for Amsterdam

Marijtje, 36 years - Entrepreneur Zandvoort, Entrepreneurship is a ART

As a child, we used to go to Zandvoort by train because, practically speaking, you walk straight onto the beach. Never thought I would live here "later when I grow up". By train you travel through the beautiful dunes making Zandvoort like an island, surrounded by sea and nature. As an actress, I work mainly in Germany for German film & TV productions. I personally like the fact that I often hear German tourists around me and am happy to talk to them.

Besides acting, I run my own company from Zandvoort; Entrepreneurship is an ART. I coach actors, artists and creative entrepreneurs in entrepreneurial skills. How do you get bread on the table with your passion? Participants enjoy coming to Zandvoort and often combine it with a walk. I often hear that they find the route to Zandvoort so beautiful.

My Zandvoort tips

Take the public transport bike and cycle through the dunes towards Bloemendaal and back along the beach. Coming to Zandvoort by train? Then Wine by the Sea is a unique place where you can have a nice glass of wine while waiting for the train. The venue has a creative look and feel and there are exhibitions several times a year, for example during Zandvoort Art. The Zandvoort Museum is an ideal outing with children. There are always changing exhibitions there and upstairs is a big mouse house where the kids can play.
