Zandvoort Beach for Amsterdam

Visit the Wonder Room

The Zandvoorts Museum organises lovely exhibitions, but you can also always take a look in the Wonderroom. In this room you will find all kinds of objects with a special story about Zandvoort. For example, old photographs, postcards, paintings, items of clothing and baskets of the fishermen's wives. There is also a sign for the poor fishermen that was placed here when a sperm whale washed ashore in Zandvoort in 1762. They all give you an idea what life was like in Zandvoort in the past, what Zandvoort looked like then and what occupied the residents. You can really marvel at this!
