Zandvoort Beach for Amsterdam

Dogs on the beach

Wonderful! Taking your dog out on the beach. To avoid inconvenience to other beachgoers, some rules apply. During the period from October 1st to April 15th, dogs are allowed on the beach all day.  From April 15th to October 1st, dogs are not allowed on the beach between 09:00 and 19:00. Outside of these hours, dogs are welcome. Do you want to take your dog to the beach anyway between 09:00 and 19:00? You can on the beach past Parnassia in Bloemendaal aan Zee. All of the beach is assigned an off leash area and dogs do not need to be kept on the lead.  You are required to clean up after your dog everywhere on the beach, and you must carry the necessary materials and show these to an official when asked to do so. Within the village of Zandvoort aan Zee dogs must be kept on the lead all year round.
