Beachcombing with Juttersgeluk foundation

By cleaning the beach together, we can prevent, for example, plastic (especially those very small pieces!) from ending up in the sea again or, even worse, being seen by birds as food. The Juttersgeluk foundation can use some help with that, because a clean beach is important for everything and everyone who comes to the beach!

On a clean beach, there is room for people and animals. Birds can look for food, people can build sandcastles. Birds can breed, people can stroll through the surf. In order to increase the experience of nature, the Juttersgeluk Foundation wants to bring more nature (back) to the beach. Nature that was always there, but is now under pressure. More lives in tufts of weed than you think! So they remain if the rubbish is cleared away.

Join us during one of the regular jute moments on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, meet our volunteers and get a taste of the atmosphere of daily work. Juttersgeluk welcomes you in the unique pop-up Jut Unit on the beach at beach pavilion De Haven van Zandvoort in Zandvoort. After a cup of coffee/tea and a brief introduction, you will go on the beach together, where they will teach you all the ins & outs of beachcombing. Around 11am, you will return to Jut Unit, to sort and evaluate the finds. At 11.30am, you will conclude.

Especially for the May holidays - children free

This beach clean-up is also great to do with the family in the May holidays. For every paying adult, one child can join in for free.
