The parties you'll remember forever are those where you're surrounded by your best friends, nicest colleagues or dearest family members. And in Zandvoort, you can live these moments with your feet in the sand, sipping on your drink in the last sunbeams of the day. Music and laughter mix with the sounds of the seagulls and the crashing of the waves. There's dancing and partying all around you, while the sun slowly sinks into the sea. A party or event on the beach is an unforgettable experience.
In Zandvoort events are organized on the beach regularly. Sometimes they are part of a larger festival, like Pride at the Beach. Find the surprising acts or special performances that appeal to you and go wild! Several beach pavilions have things going on all through the year. Not a fan of large parties? Zandvoort has over 35 beach pavilions where you can eat, drink and BBQ. There's always an event, party or festival to be found on the beach that'll make you happy. There's something happening on the beach all year round, because five of the beach pavilions remain permanently. So although most parties and festivals take place in the summer months, all kinds of things happen on the beach during low season. You can start the new year off fresh, for instance, with the oldest New Year's Swim in the Netherlands. Keep an eye on our events calendar!
Do you want to organize your own event on the beach? Corporate events, large or small dinner parties and cozy private get-togethers, every entrepreneur in Zandvoort is ready to help you make your beach party an amazing happening!
One extraordinary natural event that takes place in Zandvoort cannot be planned. After a warm spring or summer day, the surf lights up bright blue with thousands of twinkling lights. This magical sight is called Sea Sparkle. All conditions have to be just right: the water must be shallow and the preceding spring or early summer's day must have been warm. And even if the situation is perfect, one spot can have a dazzling sparkle, while a hundred meters further down the beach the waters stay dark. So a little bit of magic, and a whole lot of luck!
