Portraits with Pride Zandvoorts Museum

During the summer months Zandvoort Museum presents another exhibition in the theme of Zandvoort Pride. A collective exhibition that, in this edition of Zandvoort Pride, gives an image of a subculture through portraits. A subculture that for many is still considered "strange", while it is actually much closer and much more intertwined in today's society than you would think. As in previous years, André Donker and René Zuiderveld will compose the exhibition.

With Portraits with Pride, the guest curators of the Zandvoort Museum present a group of national and international artists who all have a connection with what for many is still difficult to pronounce, the "LGBTQ scene". The artists show portraits, but in their choice they have been able/ allowed to interpret the word "portrait" very freely. This has once again resulted in an extremely varied collection of artworks, which can definitely be called surprising.

The Zandvoorts Museum is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.
